Traditions: Keeping the Old and Making the New by Bill Immel, LPC

Traditions, we all have them. They are the special things we do with family and friends during the holiday season. The “big three holidays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s all come within a sixty-day window every year. Making it exciting, and at times overwhelming. If you have children, you know that some holiday traditions are naturally outgrown (i.e. riding Santa’s train at the mall). But some traditions can carry on for a long time like watching the special holiday movies, sitting around the fire pit, or playing board games, etc.
